David Mackinnon

Having become a qualified teacher in 2011 coming through the Graduate Teacher Program, David Mackinnon has been a KS2 teacher since then and has honed his skills in upper KS2. Prior to this, David worked as a Teaching Assistant in KS1 and in Early Years. The knowledge of working within all areas of primary education will ensure that David is able to support newcomers to the profession and match those more experienced teachers to the correct year group or key stage.

David has an excellent understanding of the requirements of the national curriculum, behaviour management and testing. Coupled with these, a sound knowledge of working with others and guiding colleagues to ensure best practice has been paramount and this will ensure he has an excellent understanding of the clients’ requirements.
